MillerCoors Makes Art Exhibition

MillerCoors is supporting the arts in Albany! MillerCoors employees and their family members are sharing their talents with the community in this juried art exhibition. This employee driven initiative is an exciting collaboration between the Albany Area Arts Council and its corporate sponsor, MillerCoors. Be sure to stop by and support these adventurous local artists and this exciting community partnership.

The opening reception, beginning at 6 PM on Sept. 3 is free and open to the public.

Good Life Drum Circle

Bring your rhythm, drums or other percussion instruments and chairs. If you don’t think you have rhythm we will help you find it. If you don’t have a drum or other percussion instruments, we will share what we have. Fun for the entire Family. No drumming experience necessary, just the willingness to share. See you at the Good Life Drum Circle!

Albany Run/Walk

Training for the Albany Marathon & Half Marathon begins August 8th with the Albany Run/Walk!

The Marathon Training Program is based on Jeff Galloway’s experience in training hundreds of runners and captured in his book “Marathon”. Every runner, no matter what their ability, can begin to train for a Marathon by taking regular, frequent walk breaks. The frequency of the walk breaks, and the pace of running, will be calibrated to your current running level.

The Georgia Artistis’ Guild of Albany members have selected personal art creations from their private collections for exhibition and sale.
