We invite Albanians to visit the British Royal Air Force Memorial. During World War II, pilots from across the world trained right here in Albany, Georgia. The Crown Hill Cemetery located on Dawson Road, has been named a historical site and is home to many fallen pilots of the British Royal Air Force. There is also a display of the British Royal Air Force memorabilia located at Southwest Georgia Regional Airport.
We encourage all Albanians and visitors to Albany to visit and explore the rich history of the British Royal Air Force.
